Our Dance Stop Company will perform in their annual MidWinter Concert this weekend! Performances will be on Saturday, March 4th at 2pm and 8pm along with a show Sunday, March 5th at 3pm. Whatever your schedule looks like this weekend, we guarantee fitting in one of these shows will not disappoint! Added bonus - $1 from all tickets sold for the Sunday 3pm show will go to benefit CURE Childhood Cancer . Our Company dancers felt very strongly about supporting CURE this year as part of our Dance Stop Community Week program. It was our dancers who came to our director, Ms. Lynettte Strickland, asking to get behind this cause. Eager to help since, through school, friendships or church, their lives have been touched by a few local children for whom this is a reality. We have already raised $500 through a successful t-shirt sale and look forward to tallying up our other fundraising efforts. These endeavors include Tribute signs, proceeds from Sunday's MidWinter show and 100% of the proceeds from our upcoming Zumba party on March 10th. (Stay tuned for more details!)
Please join us this weekend in supporting these dancers who devote so much time pursuing their love of dance while excelling in their academic studies. We are so proud of these young individuals! Consequently, their being active in the community is just icing on the cake! We also appreciate your aid in helping to put an end to childhood cancer.
