Julia received her early training in tap, ballet, and jazz at Dance Stop Studios and has been dancing for
over 35 years.
An alumna of Dance Stop Company, she participated in the Student Assistant Program and continued her
dance education under the tutelage of Lynette Strickland. Additionally, she had the privilege of studying
with Debbie Bray and Jason Weiss. Julia also attended summer intensive programs at The Atlanta School
of Ballet. She is a graduate of Georgia State University and holds a B.A. in Sociology and a graduate
certificate in Early Childhood Education.
Julia truly loves and cares for all her students. Her desire is to see her students excel in dance class and
in life. She always has a listening ear for her signature “tell me something amazing about your week!”
Outside of Dance Stop, she enjoys being a volunteer at her daughter’s school and extracurricular
activities.
